About Us
Our Story
Kids Fit Club started with one child. When Covid closed the schools in 2020, Lucas - then a newly qualified PE coach - began coaching a neighbour's four-year-old just to keep her moving. She introduced him to her nursery. That nursery introduced him to the next. By 2021 it was a company, and it's grown the same way ever since: one doorstep, one nursery, one family at a time.
Today we work with 19 nurseries across London, coaching hundreds of children every week, alongside 150+ families in our term-time classes, camps and parties. Every coach specialises in early childhood development, and every session is built on the same idea we started with: confidence first, sport second -- building the balance, coordination and confidence that carry children into school. Trying is winning.
And it's our coaches who make that real - the same faces at the same venues, week after week, until every child is asking for their coach by name.
Since 2021 we've never missed a session. Parents tell us what they notice at home - better balance, more independence, a child who asks when the next one is. That's the whole job.

Founder & Head Coach

“"I studied for a BA in Physical Education & Youth Development at St Mary's University, and sport has always been a huge part of my life. What I enjoy most in a session is the child who says they can't do something, and then does it - that's still the best part of the job. I'm a keen triathlete too, taking on half Ironmans and T100 races each year, and I still love the buzz of training. Outside of coaching you'll usually find me with my partner and family, out on a long walk, or behind a camera capturing moments."

Jamie Williams
Operations & Safeguarding Lead / Head Coach

“Hi, I'm Jamie! I'm a coach here at Kids Fit Club, and I look after operations and safeguarding - which means I'm the one making sure every session has a coach, the right kit, and a plan, so it runs exactly as promised, every week. I studied Criminology at the University of Roehampton and sport has always been my real passion, from running to football. The bit I love most is the child who spends week one holding onto a parent's leg, and by week five is running straight over to join in. Outside of work I'm usually found with my music on, watching something I've probably already seen twice, or off exploring somewhere new."

Lonneke Verbraeken
Coach

“I’m originally from Belgium and have loved becoming part of the Kids Fit Club team. I enjoy supporting sessions, helping create fun and engaging activities, and encouraging children to build confidence and develop a love for sport through play. It’s been a great experience working with the team and meeting so many wonderful families along the way!"

Lewis Davies

 Cover & Events Coach
“Hi, I'm Lewis! I've always enjoyed a variety of sports, especially tennis. I grew up in Singapore and Australia before relocating to London, and I've worked at sports camps across all three. I step in when a coach can't make it and help run our birthday parties, so a session never gets cancelled and no child misses out. I'm also a photographer, so I'm usually the one behind the camera at parties catching the moments parents don't get to see."

Dave Pelaez
Senior Head Coach

“Hi, I'm Dave! Growing up in the Philippines, I developed a strong love for sports from an early age, especially basketball, which I still play today. Before joining Kids Fit Club I worked at a nursery school in Putney, so I'm used to the pace of a room full of little ones and what they need to feel settled. The bit I enjoy most is when a child who's been watching from the side finally decides to join in - you can see it in their face. Outside of work I'm swimming, cycling, at the gym, or walking my dog."

Mimi Gunnarsson
Marketing Manager
"Hi, I'm Mimi! I was born in Bangkok and raised between Thailand and Sweden, and I'm now based in London looking after marketing at Kids Fit Club. I run our social media and design, so most of what you see from us - the photos, the posts, the way things look - comes through me. I love that it's a business built on how children actually feel, not just what they can do. In my spare time I'm training for HYROX."

Age Groups

Children who join us at Kids Fit Club will be grouped with children of the same age. Not only is this great for their social development, it also allows children to have fun together at similar skill levels ensuring no one feels left out.
We focus on these three age groups for our sessions.
